The holiday festivities continue!!

After Christmas, we spent three nights up in Cache Valley with the fam. We arrived Sunday just in time for the holiday feast that Devin was cooking up. One huge chunk of prime rib meat. Definitely the "roast beast" spoken of in Whoville. The kids were so hoping we would have a fancy Christmas feast---so we were excited to arrive and find out we WERE!! Ellie tries new food at these formal dinners--I love it!! This time it was salad and sliced cucumbers for her. And, the next day, crab cheese ball. She eats new things!!!

The kids had fun trying to sled in the front yard--with very little snow. Tuesday Darin, Devin, and Grandpa took Logan and Ellie and cousins Marc, Ashley, and Tyler, up to "the sinks" area in Logan canyon for some serious sledding!! It was a fun few days for the kids running around the plantation with Dana's kids, going to The Cache Valley Fun Park with the Daugs cousins, and eating Grandma's farm animal shaped waffles each morning.

Darin got in a few duck hunts, and some snow-shoeing with Devin. Played games and watched movies. I went out with Amy and Rachel, visited my dad, did puzzles, and shopped. Perfect few days. Thanks Sam and Marilyn for always letting us move right in. It was so fun to spend some time with you guys.
