My Three Valentine's

Before this Valentine's week is over, I wanted to write about the three most important Valentine's in my life!! Darin, Logan and Ellie.
My sweet Ellie girl. I could kiss those perfectly soft cheeks all day long. Admire your long lashes and beautiful eyes forever. You are quite a little lady. You are so talented, born to dance, sing, and perform. You have a beautiful singing voice and you can move perfectly to whatever music you hear. I love your creativity and artistic abilities. You are so smart. Perfect grades in school, and such a good student. I love it that your teacher tells me you are kind to your classmates. I am so proud of you for inviting a friend to church all on your own. You are a good example to me. You are the most reverent one in your primary class. You are able to feel the spirit and know you are a Child of God. I was so proud of you asking how to bear your testimony, and then doing it all on your own at church. We could never be without all the princess, pink, determined, attitude, fashion, laughter you bring into our family. I LOVE YOU!!!
My boy Logan. My favorite times with you are when the two of us play a game, and when I snuggle with you at bedtime. You are my sweet, best boy. I have loved to put my hands on those two perfect cheeks since you were born. You are growing up right before my eyes. You are an amazing boy. So brilliant. Your mind works in incredible ways. You see life in ways that others cannot. You are so smart at math. A genius at figuring things out. And definitely a master Wii player. I was so proud of your for saying a special prayer on your own a couple of weeks ago when you really wanted to be healthy enough to go to school for a special day. You sure do love your friends and you try to be a good friend to them. It makes me happy when I see you care about them and want them to be happy too. I have always loved the little pictures of dogs that you draw. You are amazing on the piano and really have a knack for music. We could never be without you in our family to make us laugh, keep us on track, and remind us to have fun more often. You are my little man. You stole my heart right from the beginning. I LOVE YOU!!
My true Valentine...Darin. Thank you for choosing me. For loving me. You know I often question what it is you could possibly love about me--I am difficult to live with, I know. Thank you for showing me over the years that your love for me is genuine, unconditional, and truly what you choose. In a world where I often feel like I am not up to par with the way women "should" look and be, you make me feel like I am exactly what you want. You are such an amazing man. As the years go by and we come in and out and around and through the big and small challenges of life....marriage....parenting....our families....and our own personal obstacles, I am more and more reassured that you are exactly what I need. Thank you for making me feel like I make a difference, for being interested in all the details of my not-so-exciting life, for wanting to spend time with me doing nothing and anything, for helping out so much around the house, and for being the Dad every child wishes they could have. Watching you be Logan and Ellie's Daddy is one of my greatest joys. Thank you for supporting our family, for fighting the giants and defeating the dragons for the three of us. The kids worship the ground you walk on. I LOVE YOU!!!!
Happy Week of Love, everyone!!

Darling! Powerful! I hope that you've saved this to read and re-read, and let your family read. You are a good example, little sis!
