Gettin' Our Green On!!

Here's a look at our St. Patrick's Day dinner. I was determined to just use what we had on hand and not go buy anything special. So here's our menu...Green pancakes (crepes), green jello, green salad, green apples, and green milk. Doesn't exactly all go together as a meal, but it was fun for the kids.
Here are a few of the kids school projects for the holiday. Logan made this pot of gold. Inside they were to draw and write what they wish they would find at the end of the rainbow. No big surprise...Logan wrote "A little angel", and drew a blue puppy angel. That's the one he lost this year, and is wanting replaced.
Ellie made this cute Irish potato guy, and a fun sign for us to have on the fridge this week.
P.S. I read on a friends blog that she tells her kids that the bug guy sprays for leprechauns every year. So the little green guys don't come to their house. Love it!! We might have to have the bug guy spray for leprechauns at our house next year. Thanks Monica!! We'll see if I can follow through with it.
