In our home....we have BELIEVERS!!! We believe in all things fanciful, whimsical, magical, and anything elf-like. Including Leprechauns!! Last night when the kids should have been fast asleep, they were in bed writing letters to a leprechaun. The one they are SURE will be stopping by our home today!! Here is Ellie's letter, "Dear Leperchaun Please Do not pull my tooth out. Leave a map in my room that will lead to the choclet gold. you can have some candy from my snack shack. It is in my closset help yourself. Love Elleah P.S. Please write back." She left this note with a few pieces of GREEN candy from her "Snack Shack". Her "Snack Shack" is her stash of treats that she never eats. The tiny guy wrote back, "THANKS. YUMMY!!"

Logan left two notes. This first note was left outside his bedroom door. "Dear Lepercaun loke under a blue taybel with a pilow on it. look for the not in my room. go look at this note in a light plays" Then under the blue table in his room is this note, "Dear lepercaun Can you please give me a DS for Sanit Patrics day I have been nice in this month so give my a little gift like if you can not give me a DS then give me something small. Love Logan P.S. Pleas find this under my blue taybel." The little green man wrote back, "YOU ARE A GOOD BOY!!"
A leprechaun has no choice but to deliver to such darling believers!! Although leprechauns DO NOT deliver DS's. Not even Santa delivered a DS!! These magical days will be gone all too soon. We're hangin' on by a thread.
The kids found a jellybean trail leading up the stairs and into their bedrooms.
The trail led right to their beds, where a few fun little surprises were left by a tricky leprechaun. And that naughty little guy tossed the kids stuffed animals all over their rooms!! At least he didn't mess up the kitchen like last year!!
This mama is hoping these little trinkets keep the kids entertained outside for a LONG time today!!
Why? Because when I was in the first grade I DID see a leprechaun at my elementary school. It might have been a very small person dressed up in green...but I DID see it. Under the bleachers in the gym at Wellsville Elementary. I did.
