It is the last day of school, which was really exciting. And Logan did have a party with his friends tonight, which is super fun. But between it all, he still had a bit of a rough day. After school he tripped really hard on the garage steps and hurt his leg super bad. Then this evening his buddy accidentally kicked his finger while Logan was holding the football for him to kick-off. He cried loud and hard. I thought he was just really overwhelmed from the days events at that point. He asked me to say a prayer for his finger. I did, and gave him some ibuprofen. Thirty minutes later we started his party and the finger was forgotten. Then tonight tucking him in bed, we realized how very swollen and bruised it is!!!
These pics don't really do it justice. But you will notice that the finger on the left side of the picture is much fatter and purple-r. Poor little guy!! I am sure it is sprained. Maybe broken?? He can bend it. So we will see how it is in the morning. More ibuprofen, and he is now sound asleep after this big exciting day!!
