This year we strayed from our traditions around our own county and spent four days in Cache Valley for the 4th of July. The four day weekend started off with lunch at Costa Vida with free meal coupons, free frozen yogurt at Red Mango, and a stop at Smith and Edwards. We went to the fireworks with my side of the family and lots of the little Daugs cousins. The kids had tons of fun playing around together as we waited for it to get dark.
Nate and Christy and their four kids looked too matchy and patriotic, to not take a few snapshots. Such a dang cute family!! Logan and Ellie loved playing with them at the house for a couple of hours, and especially love all their animals.
Logan and Ellie also got to play with Avery and Ada at their house for a couple of hours on Sunday. It's so fun to have cousins so close in age!! The adult cousins are also always a hit. The kids all love Courtney and it was a treat to have Jeff with us at the fireworks.
We brought 350 glow sticks for the kids to get creative with while we waited for fireworks. The adults got a little creative with them as well. For a little while the kids walked around selling them, four for a dollar. They each made over three dollars!!
Nate and Naomi brought sparklers to share with everyone. And the fireworks show was spectacular!!
Loved spending time with my side of the fam for a few hours.
