This past Friday night, Darin and Logan went on the ward Fathers and Sons camp out. They had a fabulous time with so many other big guys and little guys from the ward. They shot BB guns, and paintball guns, and bows and arrows. And they rode 4-wheelers, mini motorcycles, and other off-road vehicles.
But....they come home without Little Puppy Angel. (Yes, the Little Angel saga continues in this household!!) Not good!! Logan was beside himself. This is the second Little Puppy Angel that he has lost. Logan went to bed very sad. Darin, Super-Dad, got right in the car and drove the 1 hour back to the campsite and checked all around with the car headlights and a flashlight. No Little Angel. But today at church, after asking around, there was a ray of hope for Logan. Puppy Angel had been left in the back of the Hinton's truck. He had also been given to their dog, Darla, as a chew toy. So it was a little touch and go there for awhile. But he is now home, safe and sound, all cleaned up and dried in the drier.
I think for the sake of everyone involved, favorite stuffed animals should not leave the bedroom!!!

How great is Darin? Seriously, what an awesome dad. I agree with you, Puppy Angel needs a special spot to always be in...aughh!
