As part of my stake primary calling, I helped plan and carry out the stake Activity Day Girls Day Camp. Our theme was "Daughters of a King", from the children's book with the same title. Since Ellie is 8, she got to come this year. She came two hours early with me, to set up. The girls were able to go to five different stations, as well as eat lunch. The stations were 1-A special speaker, who read the "Daughter of a king" story and talked with the girls. She gave them each a notebook with the temple on the cover. 2-"Her highness and horses", where the girls were able to learn about and ride horses. 3- Kickball. (Even a princess needs to run around!!) 4- The "Royal Craft", decorating treasure boxes. 5- "Let's act like ladies", where the girls learned manners and proper etiquette.
The activity turned out really great. Ellie had a fun time and even chose to do that, having to miss half the day at Lagoon. (See Lagoon post.)
