Makin' apple juice at Bonka Don's 2011.

I love this!! Going to my Dad's place to pick apples and make juice the old-fashioned way with a bunch of the fam!! Logan was a great picker and hauler.
I think it always looks like we are making 'moonshine' or something questionable with all our mismatched jars and containers. This time around, Nate did most of the cranking. Logan loves dump the apples in faster than anyone can keep up with.
It was super fun to have Shari, Mary, and Jeff come out to make a few gallons. And always fun to see Bonka Don hangin' out with the kids.
The little girls played a lot more than they actually worked. But that's waht it's all about. Ellie and Ada had a great time singing and dancing aorund the orchard--and hiding from the boys. And Aleena thought the apple picker poles were pretty great!!
Jill made all the little girls matching crocheted hats. So super fun!!
Perfect day up north in "God's Country". Thanks dad and everyone!!
