Oregon Coast Vacation: aka Heaven on Earth

"That feeling inside, that's called satisfied......"
Do I even have to type text for all these vacation posts? The pictures tell it all!! Perfect, fabulous, absolute best vacation EVER!! We all want to go back. A few of us even want to move there!! (And "a few" out of four, is the majority!!)

We spent a full week (plus 8 hours...which is really MORE than a week), on a family vacation to the Oregon coast last week. We stayed in the city of Depoe Bay, at the Bella Beach Cottages. Stay there!! Go there!! And take me!!! Ours was an adorable yellow cottage called "Beach Me". They all have names. It was really thoughtful that Logan and Ellie thought it was the best of the cottages because it is yellow, and I have always wanted to live in a yellow house!. 

 

No, this is not a magazine photo---it's our vacation cottage---I could have stayed right there for a week and been happy as a coast clam!!

It was all hardwood floors on the lower level, with everything you could ever need provided. (Beach towels, umbrellas, movies, games, etc.) Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. 

The back patio. Notice our shell collection on the table. We added to it daily. 

The kids were sure that a soak in the hot tub every day was the same as having a bath. 

This little side building is the garage, which has a little studio apartment upstairs with a bedroom and bathroom. We didn't really use it.

And this fun stuff in the garage. We used it!
