Kinder-Teachers Girls Night Out!!

Last week the four kindergarten teachers went over night together to Park City. It was super fun, and not near long enough. Next time we'll stay two nights for sure!!

First couple of stops were to shop for teacher stuff. Name plates, fun pencils, Seuss stuff, pointers, etc. We teachers LOVE to spend our entire paychecks on our classroom supplies!!!

Scored a few posters to help us focus on some new kindergarten skills required by the Common Core. 

We stayed here.....The Park City Mountainside Resort. That's our room, which overlooked the ice-arena open area. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen, really loud fans, a murphy bed that folds up into the wall that nobody would sleep on, and a flat screen for watching the Olympics.

We went to dinner at the Mexican Cantina, and watched the Olympic gymnastics while we ate. We never even had time for the swimming pool and hot tub, or riding the lift or zip line. See...we need to go for two days!!

At around 11:00 we started in on the business part of our trip. By 1:15 it was getting a little nutty. But we did get a little planned for the year.

 

Next day we were up early to hit the outlet stores. Lots of shopping!! School classroom stuff, kids clothes, clothes for me......and my favorite purchase....two new pairs of shoes from Bass.

We had a late lunch at Kneaders, and then headed home. 

I sure am lucky to work with these three fabulous women!!!
