Last night a bunch of the Daugs fam got together at Willow Park to have a "Moving Meal" with Bryan and Amy. Apparently they have moved to BAINBRIDGE ISLAND!! What.......EVER!!!!! I didn't actually see the U-haul, but others tell me it really did arrive there and unload in a darling little cottage. And I did pick Bryan and Amy up at the airport yesterday on my way to Cache Valley for their party. They say they were now flying back to get the cars and drive them up. I'm in complete denial. How can TWO of my sisters and best friends on the planet both live on Bainbridge Island??? WithOUT me!!! Naomi and Nate G. are thinking of applying for a job there, which they will likely get. If Naomi moves there too, I am as good as eight feet under!!! All three of them CANNOT leave me!!!! Especially when they are where I want to be!!! Life is so unfair. I think I'll go eat worms....
I'm actually super excited for Amy and Bryan to have this new start. They need a new place in life. It's not exactly smooth sailing to figure out all the details with the kids involved. I don't envy their position and challenges at all. But I DO envy their new island of residence!!! All the more reason for me to visit more often!!
