UEA Fall break / Day 1.

I had hoped we'd be in Bainbridge right now....but alas, we are not. Had to come up with something to make this fall break exciting......and the kids knew just the thing. They have been begging to go to CORNBELLY'S. We were there for hours and hours. There is SO much to do.

Ellie did this drawing earlier this week, hoping we'd get to go!

Of course we all love referring to the map.

There were slides. LOTS of slides. Especially for smaller kids.

There was jumping and milking and riding. Riding pedal carts and riding the tractor-pulled train.

Plenty of scary stuff too. Logan went through all the scary places. Ellie opted out of a couple. She did finally go through this big dragon haunted belly maze, when I went with her.

The kids shot corn cobs out of cannons, sipped snow cones, watched the pig races and the chicken show.

Logan tried his hand at bull riding.

Ellie panned for gems and fools gold.

They both braved the zip line.

Logan ventured into the corn maze on his own. Ellie was doing something else and I had to keep an eye on both of them. So I thought I'd watch Logan from one of the corn maze watch platforms. Ya right! That place is HUGE!! He was out of my sight within two minutes and I just hoped he'd find his way out within an hour at least. About 20 minutes later he showed up. He confessed he cut through the corn because he wanted to come back.

Last night Darin took the kids 4-wheeling on Grandpa Sam's wheeler. Then they rented "Madagascar 3" from Redbox and got treats. Today after Cornbelly's we hit Costco and Darin met us there. And they rented the Wii game "Madagascar 3" from Redbox. So I guess Day one of UEA fall break was pretty great!
(Even if it's NOT Bainbridge. Sigh.....)
