Winter and Living Spaces.

Brrrr baby, it's cold out there! We have had a faaaareeeezing week! It finally warmed up yesterday enough to melt the packed layer of snow-ice, and snow down a storm of new white fluffy stuff. The way I see it, if it has to be cold, it darn well better be white!! I am happy about the new snow. Several school districts had a snow day today. (Not ours, dang!) Westminster had a snow day as well, so no work for Darin.

We finally got the last of the Christmas decorations put away sixteen days after Christmas! And suddenly it feels like we have some serious space! I am liking it much! Our new Christmas tree is big and fat and the holiday decor takes up every nook and cranny. So when that all goes away and there are furniture placement options......abracadabra....space!

Don't look too closely at the pics. Yes, we need new paint in a bad way. And yes, those rugs are to cover up the nasty matted, graying carpet. But who really cares. We do not live in a fancy, huge mansion with the latest creative decor and modern furnishings. But it's home to us and for a minute...it feels spacious!
