Cache County Fair!!

I love the Cache County Fair! Might as well jump right into "Charlotte's Web". Since we moved to our current county....I won't mention any names....we've been disappointed in the annual county fair. And this year takes the cake....they canceled the fair altogether because of ongoing budget woes. Wow. Lame. Lucky for us, we were able to head on up to Logan for a couple of days and spend some serious hours at the fair. Like ELEVEN hours on Thursday!!

Spent just a bit of time with Dall and fam. So fun! The animals at the fair are so great! Pigs in pens and sheep all over the place, gigantic cows, and fancy chickens and rabbits. Nate had the kids take turns sitting with some rabbits that they had for sale. Wyatt and Shay both won ribbons for their pigeons...best at the fair!

Wyatt and Shay also both showed sheep, so we watched those events both Thursday and Friday.

The big 'ole tractor displays might as well be a playground as far as the kids are concerned.

And the rivers are the perfect escape from the heat of the day!

We laid out our picnic blankets near the entertainment stage, like we always do, and that was our home base all day. That's where kids had to report back after a few rides, where we ate snacks, and took naps, and where we could usually find someone in the family at any given time. Such a fun day with a bunch of the Daugs cousins!

All day ride passes were the highlight for these older kids.

The six big kids signing off, as they go ride the rides....without an adult!! A first for my kids for sure. And maybe for the others as well? Not sure, but hope their moms aren't freaking out when they learn I let them go alone! They had to report back after a few rides....and we didn't let them go without an adult at night.Just FYI.

Of they go...

Go Aggies!! The kids won a ton of stuff from the USU booth....and a bunch of other free booths.

Yep, "Charlotte's Web", I'mtellin' ya!
