I read online that the local charter school was hosting a trunk-or-treat at the drive-inn movie theater tonight. It said it was for everyone and to invite your friends and neighbors....so I figured that meant US!! Since we have lots of friends and neighbors that go to Excelsior Academy! I think maybe we were the only friends/neighbors there that don't attend the school. And everyone was surprised to see us! Clearly they had no idea their school website advertised that it was for everyone and to invite other people. Oh well. We had fun passing out candy, Darin brought Subway for dinner, we got to watch a movie after the candy passing was done...and everyone automatically had treats! I think this is such an awesome event that Excelsior holds for it's students and their families! (And one outsider family who happened to read their invite online!) So fun to see lots of people we just love here tonight!!
