Cultural night out with the kids.

Last week we took the kids to Kingsbury Hall to see the production of "Crow and Weasel". Darin and Ellie had bid on a family night out package at a work function awhile back and these tickets were a part of the deal. It was a great little show and left the kids wanting to try out for their next production. I love that....but not loving the three times a week practices in Salt Lake. So we'll see. (Darin and the kids are walking in the pic.)

I bought the kids the book for Christmas. I almost think I already have a copy....somewhere. But I'm pretty sure I've never read it. It's very long for a children's book, so it will be a great read for us one night over the Christmas break.

Before the show we had dinner at The Pie.....gift card was also a part of the family night out package Darin placed the winning bid on. Super pizza and cheesy sticks...fed us for three days!! It's been years since I'd been there, so it was fun to go again.

And the evening started off with a quick trip to The Church History Museum, so Logan could get in the requirements to earn the 100 years badges. It is the 100 year anniversary of the scouting program being a part of The Church. It was a pretty neat display and so very fabulous to see off the Norman Rockwell scout paintings.

Museum, history, The Pie (totally cultural) and a play.....we need to do more nights like this one!
