Being ONE was so much FUN!!!!

Remembering Logan and Ellie's first birthday, and being one!! What a perfect age!!! Two naps every day the entire time they were one. For their first birthday we did the regular--let them have at their own little cake. We had a family party and bunches of relatives came. I seem to recall the little things loving the paper and packaging as much, if not more than all the new toys!!

Our beautiful baby girl turns ONE!!! Darin still calls her "Baby girl". She's been Daddy's little girl since the moment we first saw her. She had been walking for over a month on her first birthday. And she had long since been the one"in charge" of this family. She had us laughing much of her year being ONE--as she was always "the boss" of Logan.

And here's our beautiful baby boy!! Can it get any sweeter???!!! Logan is my "Little man". He learned to walk at age 14 months, and he pretty much skipped the crawling thing. But he sure could army-crawl!! This little boy was nothing but happy the entire year he was one--even during his hospital visits and traumas. Happy, sweet, perfect, little ONE!!!

This was quite a year as far as feeding goes. Messy, messy highchairs at least three times a day was NOT one of my favorite things!! Mac 'n' cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, pudding--you name it--it was EVERYWHERE, all the time!! Some of the stuff never came off the walls--I just painted over it. This age was pretty fun as far as the "twins" thing goes--still not old enough to put up a fight about what I had them wear--so they matched a lot of the time.

We moved into our first home just two months before Logan and Ellie turned one. So this is pretty much the only home they remember. They have had all their birthdays here. Who knows how many more they will have here?? But if it is two or ten, it will be a sad day for a sentimental mommy when we live somewhere else and March 24th rolls around!!!
