Our Thanksgiving Trip to Bainbridge Island !!

Posted by PicasaRead the following SEVEN posts to catch a glimpse of our Happy Thanksgiving in Bainbridge. A HUGE THANK YOU to Larry and Shari for having us as guests for a few days. The decision to come came about pretty quickly and we are SO happy we did!! The accommodations, food, entertainment, outings, etc. were all so perfect!! Darin, myself, and both the kids had a great time. Jeff, Andrew, and Malauri, we loved spending time with you guys!! Thanks for making my kids feel so important. They loved all the attention!! Malauri, hope you survived the drive home with us!! It was so fun to have you.
Here is my top 20 list for this great trip.....
20- Making the wreaths.
19-Going to the Christmas Tree Farm.
18-The Grand Forest.
17-The beaches and more beaches.
16-Seeing how much Ellie is in her world at the beach.
15-My kids getting to spend some time with the missionaries.
14-Helping to make the feast ALL day long, and loving it!!
13-Seeing the kids be polite and careful using breakable china.
12-Andrew letting the kids follow him around and carrying Ellie on his shoulders. And telling them the chicken story with the napkin after the feast!!
11-Darin playing Scrabble with Shari and Larry. (With a little help from Logan.)
10-Malauri letting the kids help her in the kitchen and making them feel special.
9-Mora ice-cream shop with the kids and Andrew and Jeff. (Jeff, sorry we all ditched you to ride in Andrews truck!!)
8-Watching Logan warm up to the dog, Truffles...and throw a stick for him to catch.
7-Loving Malauri's new discovery of skipping clam shells instead of rocks!! It WORKS!! I finally feel successful at skipping rocks!! (I mean shells.)
6-Listening from the kitchen as Larry made up silly songs to the guitar for the kids.
5-Playing games and laughing our heads off!!
4-Shari reading the kids The Legend of the Candy Cane.
3-The awesome ferry boat ride.
2-The perfect weather.
1-Getting to actually spend time with Shari, Larry and family. And having them get to know Darin and the kids better!!!
