Reflections Contest Awards.

Last night we attended the Reflections Contest Awards Ceremony at the elementary school. Logan and Ellie each won a prize for one of their entries.

Ellie won an Award of Excellence for her dance DVD. She was the only person in the school to earn an award in choreography. Her entry will now go on to the district level. During the judging time period, the PTA called me to ask me if Ellie did the choreography and dance all on her own, or if she had help. Anyone who knows her, knows this is just what she does. She has been making up dances for family performances for years. She's just a natural, what can I say. I wish I had a bone of grace in my entire body--but I do not!! Yep, she made up the whole thing on her own!! Our little ballerina. Her prize was a set of three Littlest Pet Shop games. Not sure what that has to do with dance--but she was excited she had the biggest prize of all!!

Logan won an Award of Merit for his clay turtle in the 3-D visual arts category. Pretty cute little creation. He won a set of 10 colors of modelling clay. He was pretty excited and started creating things as soon as we got home.

Way to go Logan and Ellie!! We are so proud of your creativity!!
