The ball of blankies.

Thought it would be fun to remember down the road, how Logan sleeps. He has six little blankies that were his receiving blankets as a baby. He wads all six in a ball and uses them for his pillow at night. He knows just by laying on them, if one of the six is missing. Must have all six.

This is how a few of them are looking these days. This one used to be a pretty yellow color. Now it's hard to tell what color it used to be--but it's gray now.

Sweet dreams little blankie man!!

You'll notice behind Ellie, that she also has a few of the same type of blankie. Only one of hers is from when she was a baby. The others she left on an airplane a couple of years ago. So we replaced them with new ones.

Most kids have blankets they prefer or attached to. These little thermal ones are stretchy. So when the kids were babies, I would kind of wrap the blanket over them, over their chin, around their shoulders to help hold their pacifiers in. Maybe not the safest practice. But seriously, I couldn't always hold both pacifiers in at the same time. So they have had these blankets near their faces from infancy.
LOVE IT that they still use something from those sweet baby days gone by.
