Last night was Ellie's spring dance recital. She was pretty nervous and excited. She did a GREAT job, of course. Daddy and Logan brought her flowers, and she was thrilled. She also got a trophy for participating in dance this year. This black costume was for her "Shake your tail feathers" dance.
Her other dance was "Butterfly Fly". I had never heard the song. But it is so sweet, about a little girl and her Dad tucking her in bed at night. Ellie is like the "Caterpillar in the tree" right now. And she is slowly turning into a beautiful winged butterfly who will take flight in this world. (Sigh.) I wish I could keep my little caterpillars right here in my tree forever!!

Dance recitals are the best. That is when they feel most like a princess.
How lucky are you to have such an amazing daughter?! The costumes are so cute :) You need to invite me to these things!!
