Buzzin' Bees Baseball

This week we took the kids to a Buzz game. It's been on my list of things to do with the kids this summer. So when our bro-in-law, Boyd, offered us free tickets, we jumped at the chance. Thanks Boyd!! The kids played on the playground a bit, and always like seeing the Bee mascot. Logan brought his mitt, just in case a ball headed our way during the game.
I just love the feel of being at a baseball field. The flag is waving, the field is perfect, we sing the National Anthem, eat hot dogs....it's just so American!! Boyd also gave us tickets for a free meal before the game. So we got to head over the picnic area and eat a great dinner...for free...with the ballpark in the background...so perfect. We had hot dogs, Philly sandwiches, chips, watermelon, beans, cookies, and drinks. All American for sure!!
We let the kids choose a treat. They both chose do-your-own-flavors snow cones. I don't know where I have been, but I had no idea those were even a thing!!
I left the game early to go get groceries. But Darin and the kids stayed til the very end. Late night for the kids, but worth the fun time.
