Yesterday Darin was out hunting all day with two brothers, Dean and Dave. They had a great time, saw great scenery, hiked (a lot), and saw lots of does and baby deer. Nothing to shoot. This was the first time Darin has hunted in the area we live in. Maybe he'll get lucky next week.

Today we made a quick trip to Cache Valley for baby Kaden's baby blessing day. And I don't even have a picture of that sweet, smiley little baby boy. It was great to see the Jones fam for a couple of hours.

Fall is my favorite time in Cache Valley and at the plantation. The kids each came home with one of Grandpa Sam's large pumpkins, and few baby ones. The five middle medium ones in the line up, we grew ourselves this year. They are not as perfect as they look. Two have been eaten by bugs on the backside, and one is all wilty and squished. Oh well, maybe we'll do better next year. It's fun for the kids to have the pumpkins that Grandpa planted before he left on a mission.
